The first quarter of 2024 has been an insightful period for wellness apps in the United Kingdom. Sensor Tower's comprehensive data from both iOS and Android platforms provides a clear picture of how these apps are performing in terms of downloads, revenue, and user engagement.

ShutEye®: Sleep Tracker, Sound kicked off the quarter with impressive revenue peaking at $85K in late January, before experiencing a gradual decline to $57K by the end of March. Downloads saw a sharp decrease from 80K in the first week of January to around 27K by the quarter's end, while weekly active users started at 100K and dipped to approximately 69K.

Me+ Daily Routine Planner showed a significant drop in revenue from $55K at the start of January to under $10K towards March. Downloads followed a similar downward trajectory, starting at 63K and falling to around 8K. Weekly active users also decreased from 159K to 102K over the quarter.

Breeze: Mental Health observed a fluctuating revenue pattern, with an initial $15K that rose to $27K mid-quarter and then settled at $22K. Downloads started at approximately 23K, had a mid-quarter dip, and slightly recovered to 10K by the end of March. Weekly active users exhibited a similar trend, starting at 60K and ending the quarter at around 48K.

Calm maintained solid revenue figures, beginning with $151K and seeing a peak at $187K before leveling to $121K. Downloads saw a gradual decrease from 20K to just over 7K, while weekly active users started strong at 211K but witnessed a decline to 180K by quarter's end.

I Am Sober had a more modest revenue journey, starting at $8K and peaking at $16K before falling back to $5K. Downloads were relatively stable, beginning at 23K, dipping mid-quarter, and climbing back to 10K. Weekly active users remained above 200K for most of the quarter, ending with a slight increase to 194K.
